Welcome to the One Ten Bus
|
However in this time of economy £70 to £110 for kits or ready made models restricts many of us to the number of buses we can buy. Dont get me wrong , I am not knocking the manufacturers. The standards of the products and representation of liveries are fantastic, such things that many of us as youngsters we could only dream of.
The other major model gauge, at least in Great Britain, Is the ‘N’ gauge. Again compared with the earlier offerings these are now wonderful. But the small size means, just by the limitations of working at this size, and with the best will in the world, there is a compromise between size and detail. All our kits are to 1/110 scale so your fleet will look right. All our models are ‘easybuild’, having only 3 main components (some have only 2) all are supplied with windows and any curved glass is pre formed. We only use grey resin, so the interiors and neutral grey and in many cases don’t need painting. One Ten Bus kits are also compatible with the modern and historical ‘British outline’ buses being produced in the far east. Some of the latter ‘Matchbox’ models buses, whilst not being exactly to scale do not really look out of place, especially with a bit of an upgrade. The buses from ‘Peak Horse and some of the ‘Corgi’ Husky range are also not too far out. One ten scale has a lot going for it and with our current and proposed models on a layout or just as a model of your favourite bus, or the one you went to school on, the first one you drove, or to up date your fleet, or to update or add to those models of your favourite operator. Of course you could want one because you like buse and want to collect or display them. We think they are ‘Fantastic’ value. They are all British made, from the design, the manufacturing and the marketing.🇬🇧 They are made by people who have had many years of experience in the bus industry, from driving to operating, from engineering to design, basically sharing their love of buses. |
We also attend various bus shows throughout the country. Watch out for us and our little ‘big bus’.
